EXPOSURE
AVOID ALL CONTACT!
IN ALL CASES CONSULT A DOCTOR!
  • INHALATION
  • Laboured breathing. Sore throat.
    Ventilation.
Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
  • MAY BE ABSORBED! Redness. Swelling.
    Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
  • EYES
  • Redness.
Face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION

  • Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
Rinse mouth. Induce vomiting (ONLY IN CONSCIOUS PERSONS!). Refer for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Ventilation. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
Separated from food and feedstuffs, alcohols, amines, and other active hydrogen compounds. Cool. Dry. Ventilation along the floor.
Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

    PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
    COLOURLESS LIQUID.

    PHYSICAL DANGERS:

    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
On combustion, forms acrid smoke and irritating fumes. Reacts with active hydrogen compounds (e.g., alcohols, amines).

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
TLV: 10 ppm; 57 mg/m3 (as TWA), A2 (Suspected Human Carcinogen) (skin) (ACGIH 1991-1992).
    PDK not established.

    ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and through the skin, and by ingestion.

    INHALATION RISK:
A harmful contamination of the air will not or will only very slowly be reached on evaporation of this substance at 20░C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
The substance irritates the eyes, the skin, and severely irritates the respiratory tract. Exposure could cause congestion of the lungs.

EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
This substance is possibly carcinogenic to humans.
